What we love:
• Immortalized in popular media throughout the world, Copacabana Beach remains an iconic locale for glamorous sunbathing and people watching — a well-deserved reputation going all the way back to the 1920s.
• Rio’s Carnival was elevated in status in 2018 to becoming one of the seven wonders of the world.
• Standing 124 feet (38 meters) high at the top of Corcovado mountain — and with an arm span of 92 feet (28 meters) — the Christ the Redeemer statue is one of the most recognizable structures in the world.
